GPSMAP 8617 large-format multifunction display features a 17-inch full HD screen with touch control. Sunlight-readable, anti-glare display is exceptionally easy to view and also includes auto-dimming feature for use in low light or at night. New maximum glass design enables you to experience a beautifully powerful, completely networked helm at your fingertips. In-plane switching (IPS) LCD display — an industry first for this class — provides consistent, accurate colors from all viewing angles. It also provides standard USB touch output for use as a touchscreen monitor for Windows® and Mac® operating systems. Install multiple displays with the industry’s lowest flush-mount profile or flat mount them edge-to-edge to create a sleek glass helm look. Preloaded BlueChart® g2 Charts

Preloaded BlueChart g2 charts for the coastal U.S., Canada and Bahamas are included. In addition to the basic charts, tidal stations, currents, depth contours, IALA symbols and included fishing charts, BlueChart g2 offers smooth transitioning between zoom levels and more seamless continuity across chart boundaries. You can customize your screens with Shallow Water Shading, which allows you to shade all depth contours shallower than what you determine is your safe depth. Fishing charts emphasize bathymetric contours with less visual clutter on the display. And there’s also a choice of standard 2-D direct overhead or 3-D “over-the-bow” map views for easier chart reading and orientation.

Preloaded Garmin LakeVü™ HD Maps

GPSMAP 8617 integrates various sonar technologies as well as autopilot, connectivity, apps, engine data and multi-media. User data can be automatically synced for all networked 8400/8600 series chartplotters across multiple helms — everything you need is at your fingertips, all on 1 screen. A full digital switching system uses CZone technology. You can power up your boat while away from the dock, switch on pumps and control lights — even underwater lights. Nearly all of your controls are available right at your fingertips either at the helm or programmed into a remote key fob or an app on your tablet provided by CZone by Mastervolt.

Network Sharing

GPSMAP 8617 allows you to share features with other compatible GPSMAP units such as radar, supplemental maps and user data, including waypoints, routes and tracks. You can also share images from Garmin VIRB® action cameras, GC™ 10 marine cameras and FLIR cameras. User data entered into 1 chartplotter can be automatically synced with other chartplotters in a network.

Quickdraw Contours is a free, easy-to-use software feature that is already installed on your GPSMAP 8617. It instantly creates your very own personalized HD fishing maps with 1-foot contours. Tailor them to fit your needs. They are your maps. You own them. Keep the data to yourself or share it with Garmin or your friends. There’s no special surveying expertise required. You just fish while it creates maps. You don’t have to wait around or send your files away like other mapping software requires — your results appear instantly. Hennessey Outdoor Electronics ships via every major carrier. We Currently offer free shipping on most items over $250. A $12.00 flat rate may apply on all other orders. Overnight shipping is available, but we will need to calculate the charge based on your location and size. Freight fees may apply.

Shipping rates DO NOT apply to shipments outside the United States.  Please email us for rate details.

Most of our shipments will be sent UPS ground but we reserve the right to use other carriers based on location, convenience and best rates.

We do not accept COD orders.

We ship using carriers that provide tracking on all packages.

Orders not Received: 

Once an order has been shipped and there is a delivery confirmation, Hennessey Outdoor Electronics is not responsible for any theft of product or delivery to the wrong address.

Damaged Product Claims:

Each package is checked for their content for quality control and packed to ensure that they arrive safely. If you receive a damaged package ask the carrier to note the condition at delivery. You must then email us at sales@hoemarine.com for a RMA number. You will then receive an email with the address of where to ship the returned item to. PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THIS INCLUDES ANY TYPE OF RETURNED ITEM.

Missing Product Claims:

Each package and contents are checked before shipping for content. If a customer claims that a product has not been received, you may file a claim with us to investigate the situation. If we determine a product in fact was missing from the package, we will credit your account immediately.

Used Merchandise:

In the event that used items or trade ins are offered we have a 30 day money back guarantee. If you experience a problem with your used item please email sales@hoemarine.com to discuss the issue and we will get it taken care of.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
