Great job with the wiring, pretty poor customer service

So, let me start this by saying I travelled over 8.5 hours one way to have my boat wiring worked on here at Hennessey Outdoors. I drove 8.5 hours, dropped it off, flew home, worked during the week while they worked on it and then flew back to pick it up. I also spent an amount of money that could purchase a person’s first car. With these things being said, the work that was done was definitely top notch. I do have major complaints though. I purchased a used graph that I was told only had about 14 hours on it. The first time I used the graph it had 292 hours on it. This wasn’t the main problem though, the main problem was that the graph (used Apex 13) didn’t work. The Ethernet port in the graph was bad, and I would have assumed that this is something that would’ve been checked before the boat left Hennessey’s warehouse that way I could make a determination on what to do (change to a Solix or purchase another Apex). Fast forward to the Monday after I return home and discover the Ethernet issue. So, now I’m scrambling to get a new graph in less than a week as I’m now set to go on vacation. After a lot of back and forth with Paul trying to get a new graph (switching back to a Solix), I was told the day before I leave that there is nothing that can be done. I stayed on Paul all week (starting that Monday morning) to get me something sent so that I would have it and could rework and rewire it before I had to leave. Needless to say, that didn’t happen, and I ended having to drive a couple hours round trip to get another graph from a local store so that I could get it installed before I left for vacation. So yes, on top of the used graph not working I had to take apart what they had done so that I could rewire after just spending $5300 on labor costs. The Solix and Apex plugs aren’t compatible. Needless to say, this wasn’t the best experience in customer service I’ve ever had, especially considering the amount of money that was spent and the time and effort that I put into getting my boat down there to those that are considered the best in the business.
